About the Role The Senior Director of Sales is a shared-services leadership role supporting Four Seasons Hotel Nashville and Four Seasons Hotel Denver, based in Nashville. This role is responsible for driving group business strategy, leading high-performing sales teams, and delivering revenue growth aligned with each hotel’s annual Marketing Plan and Four Seasons brand standards.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Hospitality Management or a related field preferred; equivalent professional experience will be considered.
  • Minimum of 3 years of luxury hotel sales experience, or 3–5 years of hotel operational experience, with demonstrated business results.
  • Previous Director of Sales experience required, ideally in a multi-property or shared-services environment.
  • Proven sales track record with strong leadership capability in the luxury hospitality market.
  • Exceptional communication, analytical, and interpersonal skills, with sound business judgment and a passion for service excellence.
  • Willingness to travel for business and work a flexible schedule, including evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed.
  • Authorization to work in the United States is required unless the candidate is currently employed in a managerial role at another Four Seasons location.
  • Current Four Seasons managers may be eligible for L-1 visa sponsorship.

Responsibilities

  • Lead and oversee all sales activities related to prospecting, securing, and managing group business for Nashville and Denver in collaboration with Worldwide Sales Offices.
  • Direct, coach, and develop on-property sales teams, including Sales Managers and Sales Administration colleagues, fostering a culture of accountability and excellence.
  • Partner closely with Revenue Management, Reservations, Catering & Conference Services, Operations, Finance, and Public Relations to optimize overall business performance.
  • Assist the Senior Director of Marketing in achieving revenue growth, profitability goals, budgeting, forecasting, and long-term business planning; assume delegated leadership responsibilities in their absence.
  • Ensure all sales administration processes, documentation, reporting, escrow handling, and systems comply with Four Seasons standards and all applicable federal, state, and local regulations.
  • Oversee contract processes, database integrity, inventory management, pricing controls, and reporting accuracy across both hotels.
  • Manage daily sales operations, including lead management, sales probability reporting, client relationship tracking, and training related to sales presentations and discovery processes.
  • Recruit, train, motivate, and retain both commissioned and non-commissioned staff to maximize individual and team performance.
  • Monitor sales performance metrics, conduct regular performance reviews, and support career development planning for team members.
