About The Position

AristaMD is seeking a Senior Director, Marketing to build its marketing function from the ground up. This foundational leadership role will encompass growth and usage marketing, account-based marketing, and company positioning and thought leadership. Initially, the role involves hands-on execution with support from design and marketing operations consultants. As the function proves successful, the role is expected to evolve into building and leading a team. The ideal candidate will have deep expertise in at least one marketing discipline and the ability to direct others in complementary areas. This is an opportunity for someone looking to take on greater scope and ownership, build something from scratch, and grow into leading it.

Requirements

  • 7+ years in B2B marketing
  • Genuine hands-on depth in at least one or two of growth marketing, account-based marketing, or content and thought leadership
  • Sufficient command of other marketing disciplines to direct people or partners
  • Direct, hands-on HubSpot (or comparable marketing automation platform) experience: able to build lifecycle stages, nurture sequences, attribution, and segmentation independently
  • A track record of building a marketing function or program from scratch, without an existing team or an established playbook
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills; comfortable presenting to executive, clinical, and cross-functional audiences
  • Data-driven approach; comfort interpreting program and pipeline data and generating actionable insights
  • Highly organized with strong project management skills; able to manage multiple priorities in a remote environment

  • Credible, hands-on experience building account-based marketing programs and growth campaigns from strategy through execution
  • Direct fluency in HubSpot (or equivalent): lifecycle stages, attribution, segmentation, and campaign builds

Responsibilities

  • Own the campaign calendar and reporting for marketing to AristaMD's existing customer base, including newsletters, webinars, nurture sequences, and usage campaigns.
  • Partner with the marketing operations consultant to build and maintain lifecycle stages, attribution, and segmentation in HubSpot.
  • Report monthly on utilization lift and net-new active provider engagement, by account.
  • Partner with clinical and executive leadership to develop thought leadership content such as keynotes, bylines, and speaking opportunities.
  • Own the content engine for top-of-funnel awareness, including blog series, whitepapers, and case studies.
  • Set AristaMD's conference and event strategy, including prioritization and pursuit of speaking opportunities, and manage the event request process.
  • Build relationships with healthcare trade press and drive press release and byline placements.
  • Complete the build of AristaMD's account-based marketing foundation, including ICP scoring tools and data partnerships, and automate the process for identifying, scoring, and engaging target accounts.
  • Direct how the ABM engine feeds outbound execution, partnering with business development on targeting, messaging, and sequencing.
  • Develop repeatable playbooks for campaign building.
  • Maintain and evolve AristaMD's messaging hierarchy for consistency across web, sales, and content.
  • Own the collateral library, including one-pagers, case studies, and competitive materials, ensuring assets are current and on-message.
  • Manage the marketing material request process: intake, vetting, and turnaround.
  • Ensure messaging, terminology, and design consistency across all channels and assets.
  • Design and implement operating processes for a scaling growth marketing function.
  • Recommend the marketing organizational structure and hiring plan, and build and lead the team as headcount is approved.
  • Partner with Revenue Operations, Sales, and Client Experience to ensure alignment on data and definitions.
