Coppin State University, a fully accredited institution and a member of the University System of Maryland, is accepting applications for a Senior Director of Experiential Learning for the Division of Enrollment Management and Student Affairs. Founded in 1900, Coppin is an urban, residential, historically black university offering 32 undergraduate majors, 14 graduate majors, and 15 certificate programs and 1 doctoral program; nearly 3,000 students are enrolled in day, evening, on-line, and weekend undergraduate and graduate courses. The Senior Director of Student Experiential Learning provides strategic leadership and vision for all student experiential learning programs, including study abroad, exchange programs, undergraduate research, career development, internship opportunities, and service learning. This position is responsible for these programs' overall development, implementation, and evaluation, ensuring they align with the university's mission and goals. The Senior Director supervises office staff, including four direct reports and an indirect report and subsequent indirect staff. The Senior Director cultivates partnerships, manages resources, and ensures the safety and well-being of students, faculty, staff, and partners participating in these experiences.
