About The Position

Adobe is seeking a Senior Director of Engineering to lead the vision, strategy, and execution of Growth Apps for Customer Experience Services (CES). The role will shape and scale enterprise-grade AI applications and define how customers interact with intelligence-driven interfaces and workflows. CES Growth Apps turn customer experience intelligence, AI, and orchestration into repeatable systems that drive enterprise adoption, retention, and expansion. They bridge Adobe’s core platforms, product-led capabilities, and go-to-market and Customer Success motions.

The Senior Director will own the Engineering strategy for CES Growth Apps and partner closely with Product, Design, and AI/ML teams to deliver integrated, user-centric solutions that meet enterprise-grade standards. This leader will foster an inclusive, creative, high-performing engineering culture; mentor and grow engineering leaders and individual contributors; represent the team within Adobe and externally; and maintain a strong technical grasp of the team’s architecture and engineering decisions.

Requirements

• 15+ years of experience in software engineering, including significant leadership of teams building complex, AI-powered web applications at scale.
• 5+ years leading Engineering Directors and Senior Managers in a matrixed, high-growth environment.
• Proven success delivering 0-to-1 product experiences, especially in AI, data platforms, or enterprise SaaS.
• Demonstrated ability to drive user experience excellence through engineering and partner effectively with product design and research teams.
• Strategic thinking and hands-on technical depth, including the ability to articulate trade-offs, evaluate system architecture, and influence at all levels.
• Strong communication and storytelling skills, including the ability to translate complex technical ideas for executive stakeholders and cross-functional teams.
• Bachelor's or advanced degree in Computer Science or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.

• Experience or learnings from launching Marketing agents, Ad tech, or Sales tech products.
