About The Position

Working as a Senior Director of Dining Services, you will manage a high-volume healthcare dining account and serve as the hospital’s point of contact for foodservice. You will lead the teams within the account and manage the overall operation, providing planning and direction to achieve operational and financial goals in a dynamic environment. The role is responsible for complying with applicable regulations, maintaining strong client relationships, and fulfilling Morrison Healthcare’s mission.

Requirements

Bachelor’s degree.
At least three years of management experience.
Foodservice management knowledge and a proven record of success.
Proven ability to lead a business and team, deliver strong customer service, and apply business and financial acumen.
Strong initiative, critical-thinking, ownership, communication, multitasking, prioritization, and organizational skills.
Ability to champion inclusion and demonstrate a proactive, positive, professional, and resilient approach.
Excellent computer skills and proficiency with Microsoft Office and POS software.

Nice To Haves

Management experience in foodservice or hospitality.
Experience in contract-managed foodservice.

Responsibilities

Lead, manage, and inspire a diverse team to provide high-quality service to patients, guests, the client, and the community.
Develop yourself and the account team, build strong client relationships, and achieve key performance indicators related to profitability, safety, and engagement.
Participate in district leadership and peer discussions to share best practices, mitigate risks, champion diversity, and build community.
Make decisions with consideration of risks, rewards, and short- and long-term implications, gathering input from team members and partners.
Foster a culture of transparency, understanding, education, safety, and accountability.
Represent Morrison Healthcare within the district and community and attend key client and community events.
Meet or exceed client needs, retain the account, identify cross-selling opportunities, and assist with rebid processes as directed.
Support functional areas including safety, marketing, nutrition, and culinary operations.
Ensure compliance with local, state, federal, and company policies, and conduct unit audits of areas such as food storage and sanitation.
Maintain compliance with USDA regulations and guidance for applicable meal and retail programs, and complete required reporting on time.
Develop staff, understand roles throughout the operation, conduct performance evaluations, and plan for account succession.
Own the account’s financial results and ensure accuracy in reporting, forecasting, and budgeting.
Ensure consistent and fair administration of policies and procedures.
