We’re seeking a bold, strategic, and people-focused Senior Director of Digital Marketing to lead our marketing and DTC e-commerce strategy. Requirements

  • 7+ years of digital marketing experience, with at least 5 years in a senior DTC e-commerce leadership role.
  • Deep expertise with Shopify and the modern DTC tech stack (Klaviyo, Subscription platforms, GA4, Meta Ads, Google Ads, TikTok, SEO tools, etc.)
  • Proven track record scaling a DTC brand, supplements, wellness, or natural products experience strongly preferred.
  • Strong analytical skills with a performance-marketing mindset; you make decisions from data, not gut alone.
  • Experience managing sizable media budgets with measurable ROAS/CAC/LTV outcomes.
  • A mobile-first mentality, you obsess over the mobile customer experience.
  • Hands-on leader who can build strategy and get in the weeds to execute.
  • Strong communicator with the ability to align cross-functional teams and present to leadership
  • Subscription commerce experience a major plus (Recharge, Ordergroove, or similar)
  • A genuine passion for health, wellness, and the natural products space.
  • Advanced Amazon marketplace knowledge a bonus.

Responsibilities

  • Own and drive the DTC e-commerce strategy for Barleans.com (Shopify), from traffic to conversion to retention.
  • Manage and optimize a monthly digital media budget across paid search, paid social, display, and emerging channels
  • Lead all digital marketing channels: paid media, email (Klaviyo), SEO, SMS, affiliate, influencer, social, and marketplace/retail media platforms (e.g., Amazon, Walmart, Meta, TikTok, and emerging channels).
  • Drive CRO and A/B testing to continuously improve site performance, UX, and mobile experience.
  • Build and lead a lean in-house marketing team
  • Manage agency and vendor relationships
  • Partner with R&D, Sales, and Operations to execute product launches, seasonal campaigns, and promotions.
  • Build a best-ln-class analytics infrastructure, own reporting, KPIs, and performance insights across all channels.
  • Identify, evaluate, and onboard emerging platforms, tools, and technologies (Al, automation, retail media)
  • Develop subscription growth and retention strategies to maximize LTV and reduce churn.
  • Ensure brand consistency and compliance across all digital touchpoints.
