About The Position

The Director of Digital Marketing will develop, implement, and oversee Connie Maxwell Children's Ministries' online marketing strategies across various digital channels like social media, search engines, email, and websites. The goal is to increase brand awareness, drive website traffic, generate leads, and ultimately increase donors, while managing budgets and analyzing campaign performance. This role requires a Master's degree in Marketing, Business, or a related field, with proven experience (5+ years) in digital marketing leadership. Strong knowledge of SEO, SEM, PPC, social media marketing, and email campaigns is essential, along with proficiency in digital marketing tools such as Google Analytics, Google Ads, and HubSpot. The ideal candidate will possess excellent analytical skills, strong leadership, communication, and project management abilities, and the capacity to work independently in a fast-paced, results-driven environment. Knowledge of Southern Baptist churches and culture, as well as non-profit organizations, is preferred. The role also emphasizes Christian character, a passion for serving children and families, and the ability to embody CMCM's Core Values.

Requirements

  • Master's degree in Marketing, Business, or a related field.
  • Proven experience (5+ years) in digital marketing leadership roles
  • Strong knowledge of SEO, SEM, PPC, social media marketing, and email campaigns
  • Proficiency in digital marketing tools such as Google Analytics, Google Ads, HubSpot, or similar platforms
  • Knowledge of CRM and marketing automation tools
  • Excellent analytical skills and data-driven decision-making abilities
  • Strong leadership, communication, and project management skills
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, results-driven environment

Responsibilities

  • Develop and execute a comprehensive digital marketing strategy to achieve CMCM's goals
  • Oversee all digital marketing channels, including SEO, SEM, social media, email marketing, content marketing, and PPC campaigns
  • Analyze data and market trends to identify opportunities for growth and ROI
  • Develop high-quality content strategies to engage target audiences and build brand awareness
  • Manage content calendars and distribution across relevant platforms
  • Implement strategies to improve organic search ranking on search engines
  • Create engaging content, scheduling posts, and monitoring social media interactions
  • Manage the digital marketing budget and allocate resources effectively
  • Track, analyze, and report on key performance metrics to measure the effectiveness of campaigns
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure cohesive marketing strategies
  • Stay up-to-date with industry trends, emerging technologies, and best practices
  • Develop and maintain relationships with external agencies and vendors
  • Maintain brand consistency across web, events, and/or social media campaigns
  • Assist the Advancement team with the execution of web-based giving campaigns
  • Work towards achieving yearly "Gold Star" list
  • Other duties as assigned by the Supervisor
