About The Position

ASRC Federal is seeking a Senior Director of Accounts, Department of Transportation / Federal Aviation Administration within the Civilian Division and within Civilian and Health Operating Group, located in the DC Metro area. This is a hybrid role, requiring 2 days onsite at the Reston HQ. As a leader within ASRC Federal, you will be responsible for the overall leadership of our Federal Aviation Administration account. This key position entails operational oversight, input into FAA growth strategy, portfolio financial results, business development to support the Division strategy, and coaching/development for subordinate functional leaders. You will provide ethical leadership for the organization, ensuring all ASRC Federal Holding Company policies and procedures are communicated, implemented, and enforced. Additionally, you will interface with senior-level customer contacts, promoting subsidiary and company capabilities. This position reports directly to the Division Vice President of the Civilian Division.

Requirements

Bachelor's degree in an appropriate field; Masters preferred with 15 years of related business experience.
A proven leader with at least 15 years of operations experience in the federal contracting environment.
Demonstrated success with the business development lifecycle with experience in the Department of Transportation (DoT) domain in support of a line of business with a specialized focus of at least 10 years of Federal Aviation Administration experience across multiple customer offices.
Experience in diverse capabilities including IT Infrastructure, Engineering, Data Center Management, ITSM, Cyber, Analytics, and DevSecOps with a particular focus on the FAA National Airspace System (NAS) systems and equipment.
A robust understanding of software solutions, systems integration, and mission-critical technologies including but not limited to System Wide Information Management (SWIM) components and interfaces.
Experience in additional segments within the FAA market such as professional services and construction.
Experience with government-wide and agency-specific acquisition vehicles and buying strategies, especially the FAA and Department of Transportation.
Proven delivery and experience in the various Department of Transportation Modes.
Experience in directing an organization consisting of diverse programs in geographically diverse environment.
A recognized program/project management leader in the federal contracting market space.
Demonstrated experience and results in targeting select markets, identifying, qualifying, and winning new business opportunities.
Possess versatile and persuasive written and presentation communication skills.
Ability to communicate clearly at all leadership levels and with company partners to support desired outcomes.
Effective as a communicator, listener, and trusted partner.
Ability to establish and maintain productive customer and industry participant networks.
Experience in identifying, evaluating teaming or merger opportunities.
An energetic and creative thinking individual that maintains a very high level of business ethics and personal standards.
A strategic visionary with sound technical, operational, and analytical abilities.
Flexibility to travel when necessary.

Responsibilities

Provides leadership input into setting the mission, vision, values, strategic plan.
Leads by example in setting the ethical tone for the account, operational managers, and subordinates.
Oversees the administration and implementation and compliance with company policies and procedures; and in conjunctions with subsidiary managers creates a culture of integrity embraced by all employees.
Maintains operational oversight for the accounts assigned.
Directly oversees contract program managers and project managers.
Provides operational leadership and is the facilitator within the division and shared services in support of accounts.
Maintains the operational business rhythm in a fast-paced and dynamic account set and remains current on operational performance and activities.
Keeps account operations running smoothly in support of continued growth and the division strategy.
Responsible for weekly status reports and deliverables, monthly program reporting and review, monthly business reviews, and quarterly and annual reporting.
Supports the strategic planning, development, and implementation of the company's goals, policies, and future direction for the portfolio and in support of the division and operating group.
Communicates and implements operational initiatives to execute ASRC Federal Holding and subsidiary organizational objectives.
Leads the operations and growth of the company's business in a profitable and sustainable manner capitalizing on superior assets and innovation and operating in a socially responsible and ethical manner.
Ensures alignment with the company's overall objectives.
Leverages systems and processes that ensure compliance with all regulations required during customer business.
Responsible for revenue, profit and growth targets, pipeline curation and management with the support of business development, and support of strategic recompetes and opportunities working with capture teams.
Works collaboratively with other account leads, senior executive team members and subsidiary general managers in providing market insight and the development of solutions to business challenges.
Communicates regularly with leadership to provide business review, strategic updates, and status of business opportunities and challenges.
Serves as a key customer contact and external spokesperson for ASRC Federal.
Effectively manages relations with a wide variety of communities in which the company operates, including shareholders, employees, creditors, suppliers, the media, governments, and the general public.
Partner with Human Resources to evaluate and implement development programs to ensure the continuation of a talent pool to address the needs of the organization. This includes programs to coach, mentor, evaluate and access performance, employee succession planning programs, Shareholder hiring initiatives and Affirmative Action, etc.
Establishes operational goals and objectives for the portfolio and evaluates the performance of senior managers.
Reviews achievement and compliance against established policies, objectives, and measurable results.
Develops relationships, assesses, and evaluates potential alliances, acquisitions, mergers, and investments.
May provide input to or be involved in related negotiations.
Ensures that organizational metrics are captured on a regular and ongoing basis to provide benchmarks for the evaluation of operational goals and objectives.
