About The Position

This role leads the overall marketing vision, supporting strategies and execution of initiatives for both hansgrohe and AXOR brands within North America. The Senior Director of Marketing ensures alignment between brand strategy, commercial objectives, and market execution while elevating brand positioning across all channels. The Senior Director of Marketing is a strategic leader and brand steward, accountable for the performance, positioning, and consistent touch points of the hansgrohe and AXOR brands across North America. This role owns the full marketing ecosystem—including brand strategy, communications and in-market touch points. The leader will also collaborate with Masco sister companies to maximize brand portfolio in North America. This leader partners closely with Sales Channels, Product Management, Operations and Executive Leadership to translate business objectives into integrated marketing strategies that drive market share growth and premium brand positioning. The role leads and develops a high-performing marketing team and ensures consistent execution across all consumer and professional touchpoints.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree required; MBA beneficial
  • 12–15+ years of progressive brand marketing experience, including leadership roles
  • Experience in premium/luxury brands, consumer goods, or design-driven industries in North America required
  • Global mindset required
  • Willingness to travel (~35%)
  • Proven success leading brand strategy and integrated marketing at scale
  • Strong track record of driving growth, market share, and profitability
  • Deep expertise in brand building, consumer insights, and creative capabilities
  • Demonstrated ability to lead in a matrixed, cross-functional environment

Responsibilities

  • Define and lead the overarching marketing strategy for hansgrohe and AXOR, aligned with global direction and regional business objectives.
  • Own brand positioning, communications and in-market touch points across all channels.
  • Serve as a key member of the leadership team, contributing to overall business strategy and growth planning.
  • Drive alignment between marketing, sales, product and operations to ensure cohesive execution.
  • Act as the ultimate brand steward, ensuring consistency, integrity, and premium positioning across all markets and touchpoints.
  • Lead annual and long-range brand planning, including segmentation, targeting, and positioning strategies.
  • Oversee the development and execution of integrated marketing plans across consumer, trade, and digital channels.
  • Ensure differentiation between hansgrohe and AXOR while maximizing portfolio synergy.
  • Establish a robust insights framework to deeply understand target consumers, market trends, and competitive dynamics.
  • Translate insights into actionable strategies that drive brand growth and competitive advantage.
  • Oversee market research, analytics, and performance tracking to inform decision-making.
  • Educate cross-functional teams on consumer behavior and market opportunities.
  • Develop strong ties with Hansgrohe corporate teams, ensuring alignment of local strategies consistent with global positioning.
  • Leverage and integrate Hansgrohe corporate capabilities and supporting tools as appropriate to optimize local brand marketing initiatives
  • Develop feedback loop with Hansgrohe corporate as well as sales, product and operations to openly share and encourage ongoing dialog among teams
  • Work closely with other Masco sister companies to maximize brand portfolio and supporting strategies
  • Own the marketing P&L, including budgeting, forecasting, and ROI optimization.
  • Ensure effective allocation of marketing investments across channels and initiatives.
  • Drive accountability for measurable business impact from all marketing activities.
  • Partner with Finance to evaluate performance and identify growth opportunities.
  • Lead, develop, and inspire a high-performing marketing organization.
  • Set clear priorities, goals, and performance expectations for the team.
  • Coach and develop direct reports, building strong leadership bench strength.
  • Foster collaboration across functions and promote a culture of accountability and innovation.
