About The Position

As the Senior Director, IT Business Relations, you will act as the strategic interface between the IT organization and Commercial and Corporate teams across Arcwood. This role is responsible for identifying and delivering technology solutions that enable revenue growth, operational scalability, regulatory compliance, and enterprise efficiency. By building trusted relationships across Commercial and Corporate functions, this role ensures IT investments are tightly aligned to business strategy, measurable outcomes, and long-term digital transformation. Ideal candidates will have strong business acumen, deep experience translating functional strategies into technology roadmaps, and a proven ability to lead cross-functional teams and complex initiatives across a diverse application and data landscape.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in information systems, business, engineering or related field (required)
  • 10+ years of experience in IT management; 3+ years closely supporting Commercial and/or Corporate functions (required)
  • Experience selecting third party providers and working with them to deliver initiatives on time and on budget (required)

  • Previous experience working within project management methodologies such as Agile or Waterfall (preferred)

Responsibilities

  • Collaborates with Commercial and Corporate teams to gather requirements, design solutions, and implement system enhancements; translates business requirements into IT project scope and roadmaps
  • Leads the planning and implementation of IT projects (including M&A integrations) that support Commercial and Corporate functions
  • Shapes demand management, intake, and prioritization processes to ensure focus on highest-value initiatives
  • Leads a team of specialized application delivery professionals and developers to support Arcwood teams across Commercial, Corporate Functions and Service Delivery
  • Evaluates, recommends, and champions emerging technologies and process innovations to improve revenue enablement, decision-making and enterprise productivity
  • Ensures the on-time, on-budget, and high-quality delivery of IT initiatives
  • Identifies and resolves risks, dependencies, and resource constraints
  • Collaborates with IT architecture, security, and development teams to ensure solutions meet enterprise standards
  • Collaborates with Commercial and Corporate teams and data analytics groups to improve visibility into commercial performance, financial outcomes, workforce metrics and enterprise KPIs
  • Supports the implementation of dashboards, BI tools, and predictive analytics through key partnerships with Arcwood’s Data team
  • Ensures systems and data practices comply with applicable regulatory, financial, privacy and security requirements
  • Participates in IT governance, budgeting and investment planning for Commercial and Corporate initiatives
  • Supports team in completing system configuration, testing, and deployment of updates, patches and new features
  • Provides guidance and mentorship to team members in resolving system issues, ensuring minimal disruption to business operations
  • Ensures solutions are well-documented, supportable, and aligned with long-term enterprise strategy
  • Leads system upgrades, migrations and integrations with third-party applications
  • Champions process optimization and change management to drive adoption and maximize return on IT investments
  • Takes on additional duties as assigned to support the team and organization
