About The Position

The Senior Director, Identity Governance & Administration (IGA) is a key leader within Global Information Security and serves as the service owner for Marriott’s enterprise IGA portfolio and primary representative for workforce identity governance. This role sets the strategy, governance, operations, and modernization direction for the enterprise IGA ecosystem, transforming identity governance into an automated, intelligence-driven capability that supports security, compliance, operational efficiency, and business value at scale. The role oversees delivery, operational performance, and continuous improvement across workforce identity, access lifecycle management, access requests, provisioning, role-based access control, access certifications, entitlement governance, application onboarding, audit readiness, and emerging identity types such as AI, machine, and other non-human identities. It directs distributed internal teams, offshore resources, managed service providers, contractors, and implementation partners, aligning product strategy, delivery, operations, business priorities, security and compliance requirements, funding, and enterprise transformation dependencies across IGA platforms, directory integrations, and related identity services. Marriott Headquarters roles generally support a hybrid work environment and require regular in-office presence at the assigned location. The posting does not identify this particular role as remote.
