Requirements

  • BS in Human Resources or years of experience.
  • Minimum of 7-10 years of progressive experience in HR management, with a minimum of 2 years Manufacturing preferred.
  • Over 5+ years of experience in management and mentoring HR Department.
  • Proficiency in HRIS systems and Microsoft Office Suite.
  • In-depth knowledge of California labor laws and regulations.
  • Exceptional interpersonal skills with a proven track record of building effective work relationships.
  • Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Demonstrated ability to build and scale HR functions from the ground up.
  • Innovative and proactive approach to addressing HR challenges and opportunities.
  • Strong skills in analysis and problem-solving.

Responsibilities

  • Collaborate closely with senior leadership to plan, facilitate, lead, direct, develop, and coordinate policies, activities, and staff to attract and retain top talent.
  • Lead our HR, Staffing and Recruitment teams in day-to-day operations, driving excellence and consistency throughout the organization.
  • Oversee the daily workflow of human resources departments.
  • Collaborate with leaders across manufacturing sites to guide, and align with communications, culture, and workflows.
  • Maintain knowledge of trends, best practices, regulatory changes, and innovative technologies in human resources, talent management, and employment law; apply this knowledge to communicate changes in policy, practice, and resources to senior leadership.
  • Lead the HR team in conducting research and analysis of organizational trends including the review of reports and metrics from the organization’s human resource information systems (HRIS).
  • Guide and administer human resource programs including, but not limited to compensation, benefits, leave, disciplinary matters, disputes and investigations, performance and talent management, productivity, recognition, and morale.
  • Help plan, lead, develop, coordinate, and implement policies, processes, training, initiatives, and surveys to support the organization’s human resource compliance and strategy needs.
  • Manage discipline and termination of employees in accordance with company policy.
  • Collaborate with senior leadership to identify and implement the organization’s goals and strategy related to staffing, recruiting, and retention.
  • Travel as needed to other Hyve locations.
  • Perform other duties as required.
