The Senior Director, Hospital Operations collaborates on strategic planning, developing goals and objectives, and priority setting for areas of responsibility that support the emergent care, transport and patient transitions. Accountability for developing and establishing a strategic vision and implementing initiatives that achieve optimal patient flow across the care continuum. Assumes 24-hour accountability for the delivery of professional care and the allocation of resources for the assigned areas of responsibility. Partners with multidisciplinary teams and is responsible for transport and patient flow metrics, productivity/outcome measures, and adherence to professional practice standards for appropriate roles. The Senior Director, Hospital Operations will cultivate and sustain a culture that embraces and exemplifies professional practice, the development of future leaders and leadership excellence. Accountable for the planning, development, provision, and continuous improvement of all services within the emergency, transportation, mission control, dialysis and apheresis, and wound care departments. Plan, implement and evaluate services to ensure sustained improvements in quality, cost, delivery, safety, engagement, and family experience in assigned clinical sites. Collaborate and partner with MD leaders, service line leaders, site of care leaders, and the Sr. Dir.'s of Inpatient and Patient Support Services, implement and operationalize initiatives intended to achieve desired outcomes.
