About The Position

Park City Mountain is seeking a senior resort leader to shape one of the most visible and high-impact parts of the guest experience at the largest ski resort in the US. As the strategic business leader for Food & Beverage, this role is accountable for the performance, growth, and long-term success of 11 outlets, two warehouses, and banquet operations across a dynamic, world-class mountain resort. The operation spans high-volume quick-service outlets, full-service restaurants, après and event spaces. This leader will set the vision and drive execution across a highly seasonal business where guest expectations, weather, visitation patterns, employee experience, mountain logistics, safety, and financial performance intersect every day. As a member of the resort’s senior leadership team, this person will help shape the broader Park City Mountain experience—not simply the Food & Beverage function—while partnering with central Food & Beverage and cross-functional resort teams to deliver exceptional guest experiences, strong employee engagement, community engagement, disciplined financial results, and operational excellence.

Requirements

  • Minimum of five years of senior leadership experience in a complex, high-volume hospitality, resort, or food and beverage environment.
  • Restaurant and resort experience, preferably in a seasonal or mountain destination setting.
  • ServSafe and TIPS certifications, or ability to obtain required certifications prior to start.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook.
  • Experience with PeopleSoft, InfoGenesis, or similar workforce, financial, and point-of-sale systems.

Responsibilities

  • Own the performance of the resort’s Food and Beverage business, delivering revenue growth, profitability, guest satisfaction, employee engagement, and operational excellence across the resort’s F&B portfolio.
  • Serve as a strategic member of the resort senior leadership team, shaping the vision for the resort, contributing to resort-wide business decisions, guest experience strategy, workforce planning, capital planning, and operational excellence.
  • Partner with culinary leadership and the central Food & Beverage support team to implement, best practices, elevate food quality and drive operational and commercial growth.
  • Ensure consistent guest service, product quality, brand standards, and employee experience across every outlet, banquet, warehouse, and event space.
  • Build and develop a high performing leadership team through clear expectations, succession planning, talent development and accountability to business outcomes and team culture.
  • Lead talent and workforce strategy across the F&B organization, ensuring staffing. Leadership capability, training, employee engagement, retention, and workforce effectiveness to support both peak season and year-round operations.
  • Lead a culture of safety and ensure compliance with health, sanitation, liquor-license, labor, environmental, recycling, waste-diversion, and company policy requirements.
  • Maintain kitchens, dining rooms, bars, warehouses, restrooms, exterior areas, and event spaces to standards for safety, cleanliness, readiness, and presentation.
  • Plan staffing, hours, outlet readiness, purchasing, and planning around the mountain operating calendar, including opening day, holiday peaks, powder days, spring close, and seasonal training surges.
  • Identify, develop, and prioritize the F&B capital roadmap including business cases for venue renovations and new concepts to enhance guest experience, operational efficiency, and financial performance.
