About The Position

Capital One, now the largest credit card issuer based on loans following the acquisition of Discover, is seeking finance leaders to join our transformative journey. We are looking for candidates to join our leadership team in Card FP&A who have superior analytical skills, the ability to build collaborative partnerships across a broad set of stakeholders, exceptional problem-solving abilities in undefined and complex situations, and robust stakeholder management. These roles offer a tremendous opportunity to shape the company's most important decisions. You will have the opportunity to work directly with the Card Business Leadership Team, the Card Finance Leadership Team, and key senior leaders across various Finance disciplines, including Corporate Planning, Accounting, Balance Sheet & Capital Planning, and Corporate Development.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Finance or other quantitative discipline, or military experience
  • At least 10 years of experience in Finance, Business Analytics, Accounting, Strategy Consulting, or a combination
  • At least 6 years of experience managing a Financial Planning & Analysis (FP&A) function
  • At least 5 years of people management experience

Nice To Haves

  • Master’s Degree in Business Administration (MBA) or Master's Degree in Finance
  • Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA) license or Certified Public Accountant (CPA) license
  • 10+ years of experience managing a Financial Planning & Analysis (FP&A) function
  • 10+ years of people management experience including both direct & indirect reports
