This role is responsible for directing, negotiating, and handling the finance, accounting, and analysis functions of business units, with a primary focus on leading the G&A function. The position involves overseeing the preparation of accurate and timely financial reports, interpreting financial data for management, and presenting strategic plans, operating budgets, and forecasts. The Senior Director will also analyze performance variances, evaluate business processes and systems for data integrity, and ensure alignment with business unit and corporate objectives. Additionally, this role serves as the financial liaison for corporate and business unit functions and directs support activities to enhance profitability.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
  • 7+ years of accounting or financial analysis experience.
  • Previous management experience including responsibilities for hiring, training, assigning work and managing performance of staff.

Nice To Haves

  • Experience in public accounting, operations, information systems and health care or insurance preferred.
  • Preferred experience in Medicare/Medicaid and G&A.

Responsibilities

  • Direct, negotiate and handle activities of the business units finance, accounting and analysis functions.
  • Responsible for leading the G&A function.
  • Oversee the preparation of accurate and timely financial reports ensuring requirements are met.
  • Interpret financial reports for management team.
  • Review, communicate, and present strategic plans, operating budgets and forecasts.
  • Provide financial plan for performance variances, operating alternatives, program and investment initiatives.
  • Monitor and analyze business processes and systems to ensure data and system integrity.
  • Determine targets and measures ensuring alignment with business unit and corporate objectives, evaluate effectiveness and recommend updates as needed.
  • Serve as the point of contact for corporate and business unit functions regarding financial matters.
  • Direct support activities and timely information related to sales and account management to drive profitability.
  • Ensure optimization and accurate reporting of various financial related matters.
