Job SummaryWe are seeking a strategic, results-driven Senior Facilities Director who thrives in complex environments and leads with accountability, innovation, and a safety-first mindset. This leader serves as the single point of accountability for all campus facilities operations, including Maintenance, Grounds, Custodial Services, and Central Plant. The Director partners closely with senior education administrators to align facilities strategy with institutional goals while ensuring operational excellence, financial performance, safety, and regulatory compliance.

Requirements

  • Bachelor s degree preferred
  • 10+ years of progressive facilities management leadership experience, preferably in K-12 or higher education
  • Demonstrated experience managing multi-service campus operations
  • Strong financial acumen with direct P&L ownership
  • Expertise in central plant operations and infrastructure systems
  • Exceptional communication and stakeholder management skills
  • Valid drivers license
  • Willing to travel during training

Responsibilities

  • Provide strategic oversight of all facilities service lines
  • Own operating and capital budgets with full P&L accountability
  • Serve as the primary executive contact for client leadership
  • Ensure compliance with all regulatory requirements and safety standards
  • Implement performance metrics and drive continuous improvement
  • Develop and mentor high-performing management teams
  • Protect and maintain capital assets to best-in-class standards
