About The Position

Directs, plans and leads the Digital product strategy for the organization supporting all lines of business. Anticipates organization or customer needs, drives the solution and product design, ensuring a differentiated customer experience. Drives digital product development from conception to delivery. Works closely with the Digital Leadership team, line of business and functional executives to achieve the business objectives for the organization and to drive execution of the digital strategy and business transformation activities.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in related field or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Twelve years of product management and services experience including technical product development within financial services, enterprise-wide project management and experience directing multiple teams of professionals
  • Ability to identify and analyze emerging digital trends and develop compelling strategies
  • Strong analytical skills to evaluate business and technical feasibility
  • Strong background in UI/UX development including customer journey development and digital specific design competency
  • Strong communication, collaboration, and leadership skills
  • Strong technical knowledge (i.e., HTML, CSS, JS, SQL)

Responsibilities

  • Leads an organization of highly skilled product directors, product managers and analysts overseeing the delivery and development of all customer-facing digital capabilities across the organization.
  • Works closely with third party executive and leadership teams to ensure that digital products meet the standards established by the organization and fulfill the business objectives set forth.
  • Collaborates with stakeholders across the organization to deliver digital strategies and solutions. Works closely with the UI/UX design, translating organization or customer needs to designs that are technically feasible. Leads the digital delivery team with meeting design and customer needs, incorporating designs to products and solutions.
  • Communicates project and program statuses and demonstrations. Manages and prioritizes all product backlogs. Ensures development teams understand implementation requirements. Decisions the prioritization of product features. Defines and analyzes product-level features and functionality through a deep understanding of customers and effort.
  • Translates concepts and prototypes into features within the digital context. Reprioritizes and adjusts scope based on evolving requirements. Facilitates requirements modeling sessions, including requirements envisioning. Communicates and manages stakeholder expectations on product development.
  • Collaborates with brand and marketing to launch new products. Maintains backlog platform and tools that should be used. Ensures backlog is current and well-groomed.
  • Manages the annual performance management and merit processes for direct and indirect reports. Coaches and develops team members and builds a work environment where team members are engaged and feel a positive sense of achievement about their role in the company. Works closely with Human Resources regarding employee relations, compensation, training, posting and filling vacant positions and other Human Resources related matters.
  • Each team member is expected to be aware of risk within their functional area. This includes observing all policies, procedures, laws, regulations and risk limits specific to their role. Additionally, they should raise and report known or suspected violations to the appropriate Company authority in a timely fashion.
