About The Position

SHINE Technologies is seeking a Senior Director, Corporate FP&A to serve as a senior strategic finance leader and trusted business partner to SHINE’s executive leadership team. This role owns and drives the company’s enterprise-wide financial planning, forecasting, and internal reporting processes, while also playing a critical role in the design, development, and evolution of SHINE’s financial systems and planning infrastructure. The Senior Director is the primary steward of the forecasting calendar and all management reporting deliverables, ensuring leadership has timely, accurate, and actionable financial information. The Senior Director will translate complex financial data into clear, executive-ready insights, support strategic decision-making across the organization, and build scalable processes, tools, and systems that support SHINE’s continued growth, operational complexity, and long-term strategic objectives. This role also serves as a key finance partner for Board meeting preparation, investor relations activities, and ad hoc executive analyses.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related discipline; MBA or advanced degree preferred
  • 10+ years of progressive experience in FP&A, corporate finance, or related roles, with demonstrated experience leading teams and influencing at the executive level
  • Strong understanding of financial statements, budgeting, forecasting, and performance management
  • Experience working with ERP systems and financial planning tools; ability to bridge finance, systems, and business process needs
  • Advanced financial modeling and analytical skills, with the ability to synthesize complex data into actionable insights
  • Exceptional communication and presentation skills, including the ability to influence and partner with senior leaders
  • Proven ability to operate effectively in a fast-paced, evolving environment with competing priorities
  • Experience supporting Board of Directors reporting, investor relations, or public-company financial communications preferred
  • Demonstrated ability to manage and develop high-performing finance teams in a complex, growth-stage organization

Responsibilities

  • Own and drive SHINE’s enterprise-wide forecasting process, including the annual operating budget, long-range financial plan, and all periodic reforecasts — establishing the forecasting calendar, setting standards for inputs, and holding the organization accountable to deadlines and quality.
  • Partner with executive leadership and department heads to align financial plans with strategic, operational, and capital priorities.
  • Develop, maintain, and enhance financial models that support business planning, scenario analysis, investment evaluation, and strategic initiatives.
  • Review and analyze monthly and quarterly financial results, identify key drivers and variances, and communicate insights to senior leadership and the Board as appropriate.
  • Own internal financial reporting end-to-end — including monthly and quarterly management reporting packages, executive dashboards, and KPI scorecards — ensuring reports are accurate, timely, and presented in a manner that clearly communicates performance, key drivers, and variances to senior leadership.
  • Serve as a key finance lead in the development, enhancement, and optimization of SHINE’s financial planning, reporting, and analytics systems.
  • Partner closely with Accounting, IT, and business stakeholders to ensure alignment between financial systems (e.g., ERP, planning tools) and FP&A processes.
  • Drive improvements to data integrity, reporting automation, and system-enabled insights to support scalability and efficiency.
  • Contribute to the development of a financial systems and planning roadmap that supports SHINE’s growth, complexity, and public-company readiness.
  • Act as a strategic advisor to leaders across the organization, providing financial insight to support operational, investment, and resource-allocation decisions.
  • Lead ad hoc analyses and special projects, including cost structure evaluations, business cases, and strategic initiatives.
  • Lead Board meeting preparation from an FP&A perspective — owning the development of financial narratives, Board materials, and supporting analyses that clearly communicate company performance, forecast, and strategic priorities to the Board of Directors.
  • Support investor relations activities by preparing financial analyses, earnings materials, and investor-facing data packages in close coordination with the CFO and IR function; serve as a key resource for investor inquiries requiring financial modeling or data interpretation.
  • Drive high-quality ad hoc financial analysis in support of executive decision-making, including business case development, scenario modeling, M&A evaluation support, cost structure assessments, and other strategic initiatives as prioritized by the CFO.
