About The Position

Quantexa is seeking a disciplined sales leader to build and define the sales engine for their Core Banking segment in North America. This role is pivotal to the company's strategy to expand its footprint in the financial services industry, focusing on major banks with over $100B in assets. The position involves leading, mentoring, and expanding a team of 4 to 6 sales professionals, transitioning them to sell Quantexa's Contextual Decision Intelligence (CDI) platform capabilities. The company emphasizes innovation, client relationships, and a culture of discovery and belonging, with a diverse workforce.

Requirements

  • Extensive experience as an enterprise software sales manager or director in North America.
  • Demonstrated ability to hire, grow, and elevate high-performing sales teams.
  • Strict, process-driven seller (e.g., MEDDPICC, Sandler, or similar methodologies).
  • Proven history of personally closing and overseeing large, complex, 7-figure enterprise software/platform transactions within the financial services sector.
  • Ability to understand complex data challenges within a bank and articulate how advanced technology solves core business pain points.
  • Experience of collaborating with Global Alliances and partners (such as GSIs and Hyperscalers) to accelerate sales cycles and scale deal sizes.
  • Ambitious, highly energetic, and determined to succeed.
  • Direct, "no-nonsense" communicator with excellent executive presence.
  • Inclusive decision-maker who values collaboration but has the confidence to take decisive independent action when required.
  • Resilient and perseverant through long, highly regulated banking procurement cycles.
  • East Coast based clients and partners.
  • Must be based in the primary hub (New York City) or a considered location (Boston or Charlotte).

Nice To Haves

  • Previous experience working at a technology company during its mid-stage growth phase (e.g., scaling from $100M to $250m+ ARR).
  • Prior experience selling Financial Crime, Fraud, Compliance, or enterprise data management platforms into banking environments.
  • An existing, active network of senior executive relationships within the North American Core Banking landscape.

Responsibilities

  • Define and execute the sales strategy and go-to-market plan for the North American Core Banking team.
  • Establish a disciplined, repeatable sales cadence.
  • Manage and mentor a team of 4 to 6 Sales Directors while actively participating in the sales process.
  • Co-sell with reps and help navigate complex, multi-stakeholder deals.
  • Consistently deliver against sales targets, securing high-value enterprise platform deals.
  • Build a robust, qualified pipeline.
  • Educate bank executives on the strategic business value of a unified Decision Intelligence platform.
  • Partner closely with Solutions Engineering, Alliances, and Industry experts.
