Senior Director, Compliance & Donor Safety

LiveOnNY•New York, NY
•$170,000 - $200,000

About The Position

The Senior Director, Compliance & Donor Safety provides advanced administrative, fact-gathering, regulatory research, and analytical support to the Vice President of Compliance and Donor Safety (VP). Under the VP’s direction, the role gathers, organizes, and summarizes information concerning clinical, regulatory, financial, contractual, operational, human resources, and other organization-wide matters. It requires medical terminology knowledge, strong administrative and investigation-support skills, and the ability to understand clinical and administrative processes, regulations, and business records. The position also provides functional oversight of assigned Compliance and Donor Safety staff and workstreams as delegated by the VP. The role completes assignments and exercises oversight within the scope, priorities, and authority delegated by the VP. It may assign approved work to designated staff, review work for accuracy and completion, provide coaching, and require correction of administrative or documentation deficiencies within that scope. It does not independently initiate or expand investigations, determine final findings, interpret legal or regulatory requirements on behalf of LiveOnNY, direct departmental action outside delegated authority, approve or close corrective actions, or make final legal, disciplinary, clinical, regulatory, or compliance determinations. Matters outside the assigned scope are referred promptly to the VP. All services must comply with applicable federal and state laws, regulations, oversight requirements, and LiveOnNY policies, standard operating procedures, and work instructions, including requirements from CMS, New York State, FDA, and OPTN. This is an exempt position requiring full professional time, attention, and best efforts. The Senior Director must remain available inside and outside standard business hours as organizational needs dictate and may not undertake outside employment, consulting, or business activity without advance written approval from the Chief Operating Officer under LiveOnNY’s Conflicts of Interest Policy.
