About The Position

The Senior Director, Communications, Industrial Automation (IA) serves as the senior communications leader for Honeywell Technologies’ IA business, responsible for leading an integrated communications function spanning employee communications, executive communications, media relations, thought leadership, reputation management, change communications and business storytelling. This individual partners closely with the Industrial Automation President and CEO and leadership team to shape and deliver strategic, enterprise-aligned communications that build awareness, deepen understanding and inspire action across internal and external stakeholders. As part of an integrated communications function, this leader develops a cohesive narrative that connects internal and external messaging, leveraging company channels, employee engagement events, town halls, multimedia storytelling and integrated change communications plans to inform and unite employees around key priorities and initiatives. In parallel, this individual collaborates with the Media Center of Excellence (COE) to extend these narratives externally by developing aligned messaging, driving meaningful industry and business media coverage around products and initiatives and leading coordinated efforts that protect and elevate Honeywell Technologies’ reputation and brand. Fluency in AI, analytics and modern communications practices is essential as this leader helps transform the Communications function, measure impact and drive continuous improvement across communication programs. This individual will have outstanding written and verbal communications skills, with a thorough understanding of digital and social communications channels and how to leverage them internally and externally. This individual will need to meet the needs of a varied set of stakeholders and be comfortable in a dynamic environment with rapidly shifting priorities and a clear focus on accelerating growth.
