Senior Director, Business Operations, Product & Technology

SentinelOneMountain View, CA
$258,750 - $388,700

About The Position

SentinelOne is seeking a Senior Director of Business Operations to serve as a trusted strategic advisor to executive leaders across SentinelOne’s Product and Technology organization. This role operates at the intersection of strategy, execution, and senior leadership decision-making. You will own the operating cadence, lead strategic planning and investment decisions, and deliver authoritative, data-driven insights that give leaders the clarity and confidence to run a complex, high-growth business. The ideal candidate brings deep consulting experience, exceptional analytical rigor, and the executive presence to communicate nuanced business and technical topics with precision and impact.

Requirements

  • 15+ years of progressive experience combining management consulting and industry roles in business operations, strategy, or Chief of Staff functions—ideally within high-growth SaaS organizations.
  • Demonstrated success partnering directly with C-suite and VP-level executives to influence strategy and drive measurable business outcomes.
  • Track record of leading business transformation and large-scale programs with tangible, lasting impact on organizational performance.
  • Ability to operate effectively across altitudes—moving fluidly between long-horizon strategy and hands-on execution as the situation demands.
  • Proven ability to design and manage operating cadences for large, complex organizations (1,000+ employees) across geographies and functions.
  • Exceptional executive communication and storytelling skills, including the ability to produce polished, persuasive deliverables under tight timelines.
  • Sophisticated analytical capabilities with a demonstrated ability to synthesize complex, disparate data into clear, actionable executive insights.
  • Strong executive presence and the ability to influence senior stakeholders, build consensus, and drive outcomes in ambiguous, fast-moving environments.
  • Resilient and adaptable, with strong change management skills and a track record of leading through organizational complexity.

Nice To Haves

  • Experience in the cybersecurity industry is preferred; familiarity with concepts such as secure SDLC, vulnerability management, threat modeling, or security research is a plus.
  • MBA or equivalent advanced degree strongly preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Serve as a trusted strategic partner to C-suite and VP-level product and technology leaders, shaping priorities and driving organizational alignment.
  • Architect and lead the operating rhythm across the organization—Board presentations, OKRs, QBRs, MBRs, operational reviews, All Hands, and more.
  • Guide leaders in establishing impactful, measurable OKRs and goals that cascade coherently across teams and connect to company-wide objectives.
  • Lead data-driven analysis through organizational dashboards and reporting frameworks that inform executive decisions on growth, investment allocation, resourcing, and strategic priorities.
  • Translate complex business and technical subject matter into crisp, executive-ready narratives and board-level presentations.
  • Lead quarterly and annual planning processes in support of roadmap development and AOP planning, ensuring rigor and cross-functional alignment.
  • Develop and deliver high-impact materials for executive and board-level forums, including investment cases, strategic reviews, and performance summaries.
  • Define, own, and evolve the key metrics framework spanning revenue growth, cost management, operational efficiency, and product adoption; distill actionable insights for C-suite audiences.
  • Drive alignment across Product, Technology, and key cross-functional partners—including Sales, Marketing, Finance, Human Resources, Customer Success, and Legal—to accelerate execution and remove barriers.
  • Proactively identify risks, surface critical trade-offs, and equip leaders with the analysis needed to make well-informed, timely decisions.
  • Build, scale, and continuously strengthen a high-performing business operations capability.
