Director, Product & Technology

EntreprenistaMiami, FL

About The Position

Entreprenista is a fast-growing membership community and media company serving women entrepreneurs at all stages. Technology and products are central to how the company operates and serves its members, encompassing both internal systems and member-facing products. This role is Entreprenista's first dedicated technology leader, responsible for owning the products and infrastructure that power the business, including internal operations and external products. The position involves owning the technology roadmap, leading the end-to-end build of new Entreprenista products, and bringing external technology work fully in-house within the first six months. The role will support the needs of all departments within the company. It is described as a builder's role at the leadership level, suitable for a senior builder ready to lead, a technical leader who enjoys shipping, or the first technical hire at a growing company.

Requirements

  • A track record of leading technology and shipping products.
  • 7+ years building software, products, or technical infrastructure.
  • Ability to explain technical decisions and business outcomes of past projects.
  • Hands-on technical depth across the modern stack.
  • Deep, current experience building with martech and revenue tools (Klaviyo, HubSpot, Stripe, GA4/GTM, Zapier/n8n) and their integration and automation.
  • Experience standing up products from scratch, not just maintaining them.
  • Experience taking an idea from concept to a shipped product with real users.
  • Strong data and integration architecture instincts, including designing clean data flows.
  • Experience with subscription or membership data, including attribution, billing logic, and cross-platform reporting.
  • Ability to translate business needs into technical reality, decomposing requirements into data models, integrations, build sequences, and tooling.
  • Precision, accountability, and trust-building capabilities.
  • Documentation of work and clear communication about timelines.
  • Honesty about project readiness.

Nice To Haves

  • Experience with subscription or membership business models and their technical realities (billing logic, renewal mechanics, expansion revenue tracking).
  • SQL proficiency and direct experience designing or working with membership databases / data warehouses.
  • Python or JavaScript for custom builds, data pulls, or lightweight internal tooling.
  • Experience with API integrations beyond no-code (custom webhooks, middleware, n8n workflows exceeding Zapier's capabilities).
  • Familiarity with Circle, member experience platforms, or community product infrastructure.
  • Experience as an early or first technical hire, comfortable building both the function and the product surface simultaneously.
  • Background in or passion for serving founders, creators, or small business communities.

Responsibilities

  • Own the technology and product roadmap in partnership with leadership, translating business needs and product vision into technical plans, scoping build timelines, and making architectural decisions for data cleanliness, shipping speed, and system scalability.
  • Lead the technology and product execution and project management for Entreprenista's market-facing products and offerings, partnering with leadership on development, owning the technical build, shipping the product, and establishing supporting systems (billing, member experience, integrations, data).
  • Own the design and execution of the martech and revenue stack (Klaviyo, HubSpot, Stripe, SamCart, GA4/GTM, Zapier/n8n) and their integrations, scoping contractor support while remaining hands-on across the stack.
  • Own the architecture, integrity, and evolution of the membership database, ensuring it serves as the source of truth for revenue, retention, and member behavior, and that all dependent data is clean, accurate, and trusted.
  • Transition the relationship with the external technology partner in-house within the first six months and manage the clean termination of that engagement.
  • Prioritize technology requests across all teams, build systems to reduce ad hoc work, and proactively contribute a point of view on technology development.
  • Ensure new Entreprenista products ship on time and function correctly.
  • Maintain an owned, documented, and visible technology and product roadmap.
  • Ensure the membership database and core data infrastructure are stable, documented, and trusted by all dependent teams.
  • Ship builds (integrations, automations, dashboards, products) at a significantly faster pace than the current baseline.
  • Reduce blocked dependencies reported by cross-functional partners.
  • Establish the technology and product function as a recognized entity within the company, with the potential to scale into a team.
