About The Position

Manages technology vendor governance, intake operations, various contract reviews, supplier engagement tracking, and executive-level visibility across the vendor lifecycle. Supports resolution of supplier, contract, SOW, and project intake issues by coordinating with business partners, Purchasing, Legal, Finance, and various other Caterpillar and supplier contacts. Develops and improves VMO workflows, VIDA intake processes, review checklists, approval paths, templates, reporting methods, and escalation routines. Implements processes and tools for different types of contracts, risk assessments, disputes, and issue resolutions, etc. Conducting analyses of existing vendor networks to assess their capability of meeting business objectives; recommending new vendors in terms of capacity. Analyzes supplier engagements, project volume, renewal timelines, spend exposure, concentration risk, aging requests, and supplier alignment with business needs. Reviews SOWs, renewals, amendments, NDAs/NDSAs, and MSAs for completeness, compliance, risk, scope clarity, deliverables, funding alignment, acceptance criteria, and governance requirements.
