About The Position

Capital One Software is the enterprise B2B software business of Capital One, dedicated to helping organizations manage their data in the cloud with speed, agility, and efficiency. Born out of our own digital transformation, we commercialize the internal tools that powered our journey to becoming the first major U.S. bank to go "all-in" on the public cloud. Our flagship products, Slingshot (data cloud optimization) and Databolt (data security), are designed to solve the most complex data management and AI-readiness challenges.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s Degree or military experience.
  • At least 5 years of experience in B2B Demand Generation or Email Marketing within the SaaS or Tech sector.
  • At least 5 years experience building automated workflows in enterprise-grade platforms (Marketo, Groove, Gong).
  • At least 5 years of experience tracking, analyzing, and reporting email marketing performance with direct linkage to pipeline and revenue attribution.

Nice To Haves

  • 7+ years experience navigating complex legal/compliance review cycles within financial services or a similarly regulated environment.
  • Basic knowledge of HTML/CSS for email template troubleshooting and experience with SQL for advanced database segmenting.
  • A strong portfolio of B2B email copy that is concise, professional, and action-oriented.
  • Familiarity with the broader B2B tech stack, including Salesforce (CRM), 6sense/Demandbase (ABM), and Snowflake (Data).

Responsibilities

  • Own the E2E strategy for all lead nurturing programs.
  • Map the buyer's journey and build automated email sequences that align with specific stages (e.g., Cold-to-Warm, MQL-to-SQL, and Customer Expansion).
  • Leverage CRM data and intent signals to create highly segmented email lists.
  • Deliver deep personalization based on industry, tech stack, and persona pain points.
  • Maintain a rigorous testing roadmap for subject lines, CTAs, send times, and content formats.
  • Constantly iterate to improve open rates, CTRs, and—most importantly—bottom-of-funnel conversions.
  • Partner with Marketing Ops to refine lead scoring models based on email engagement data, ensuring the Sales team is prioritizing the most "sales-ready" leads.
  • Act as the primary email consultant for Campaign Managers and Content teams, ensuring all multi-channel campaigns (Webinars, Whitepapers, Events) have a high-converting email component.
  • Ensure all email activities adhere to Capital One’s LRCC (Legal, Risk, Compliance) standards and international regulations (CAN-SPAM, GDPR).
