About The Position

The Aerospace Corporation is seeking a Senior DevSecOps/AI Ops Engineer to build and manage the next generation of AI-enabled web and mobile agentic applications. The role works with a small team of software developers and cloud engineers to advance agentic operations supporting AI-native web and mobile solutions. The engineer applies knowledge of the agentic software development lifecycle and cloud infrastructure automation, collaborating with software developers, security engineers, business analysts, stakeholders, and management to deliver reliable, secure, resilient software releases and operations. The position is full-time and on-site at the company’s facility in El Segundo, California. The role designs and operates continuous integration, delivery, deployment, and testing pipelines; incorporates security controls into deployment workflows; and designs and maintains scalable multi-cloud DevSecOps platforms. It includes provisioning cloud and on-premises infrastructure as code, building observability pipelines, monitoring systems, managing AI-native applications with Docker and Kubernetes, and responding to production incidents. The engineer also improves automation and CI/CD tooling, applies standard security practices within DevOps workflows, and mentors junior engineers. The minimum qualifications are set out for Solutions Staff III, with additional experience and Agile/test automation expectations described for Solutions Developer Staff IV. The role requires the ability to obtain and maintain a U.S. government secret security clearance, which requires U.S. citizenship.
