About The Position

The development team builds and maintains software supporting TMC’s primary service delivery EMR systems, JBS and Ignite. The Dev Ops Engineer supports the product throughout its lifecycle by understanding customer needs and the existing technology framework, building reliable pipelines that help the development team move from concept to production, supporting testing and security validation, and assisting internal and external clients as needed to maintain software stability. The role designs, implements, and maintains secure CI/CD pipelines and Azure infrastructure, integrates security practices into engineering workflows, and improves monitoring, reliability, and disaster recovery. It also helps engineering teams follow DevOps and DevSecOps best practices while maintaining organizational compliance standards.

Requirements

Bachelor’s degree or higher in Computer Science or a related field, or equivalent work experience.
At least 3 years of experience in DevOps, DevSecOps, or Cloud Engineering roles supporting production systems.
Hands-on experience with Azure services such as App Service, Azure Functions, Azure SQL, Key Vault, Storage, Service Bus, and Azure Active Directory.
Strong command of CI/CD tooling, preferably Azure DevOps Pipelines or GitHub Actions.
Experience with infrastructure-as-code tools such as ARM, Bicep, or Terraform.
Proficiency in PowerShell or Bash and familiarity with C# build processes.
Working knowledge of securing .NET applications, including API security, identity flows, secret rotation, and secure configuration management.
Experience implementing vulnerability scanning and automated security validation processes.
Familiarity with containerization concepts and container security, including Docker and ACR.
Understanding of networking fundamentals, including firewalls, VNETs, private endpoints, and zero-trust patterns.
Experience implementing monitoring, logging, and observability for distributed applications.
Strong analytical skills and ability to troubleshoot complex deployment and infrastructure issues.
Demonstrated enthusiasm for solving healthcare problems, building positive working relationships, teamwork, and continuous improvement.

Responsibilities

Design, implement, and maintain secure CI/CD pipelines across Azure DevOps, including automated build, test, and deployment workflows for .NET MAUI, Blazor, API services, and current Angular/.NET software.
Own platform security integration, including secret management, identity management, and Azure Key Vault governance.
Develop and maintain infrastructure-as-code for Azure environments using tools such as Azure DevOps, ARM/Bicep, or Terraform.
Implement automated security scanning, including SAST, SCA, container scanning, and dependency tracking, and integrate remediation workflows with engineering processes.
Monitor system performance, reliability, deployment health, and security posture across environments.
Collaborate with developers to implement secure coding patterns and optimize deployment processes.
Establish automated rollback and disaster recovery processes to support high availability.
Improve observability using Azure Monitor, Application Insights, and custom telemetry.
Maintain compliance with organizational standards such as HIPAA, SOC 2, and HITRUST through auditing, logging, and configuration baselines.
Guide engineering teams in DevOps and DevSecOps best practices, including shift-left security and early defect detection.
Support software throughout its lifecycle, including understanding customer needs, building reliable pipelines, testing, and providing as-needed support to internal and external clients.
