About The Position

Software Mind is seeking a Senior DevOps Manager to lead a DevOps team for a client in the real estate sector. This role involves a comprehensive replatforming and cloud migration journey, transitioning subsidiary services from on-premises infrastructure to a modern, AWS-integrated environment. The position requires ensuring stable, secure, and highly available IT operations, managing and improving existing infrastructure, owning and optimizing CI/CD pipelines, driving improvements in monitoring and incident management, and supporting cloud migration activities. Collaboration with engineering teams to enhance release quality and speed is also a key aspect of this role.

Requirements

• Proven experience in leadership roles, including managing and mentoring technical teams
• Strong hands-on experience with Linux, on-premises infrastructure, CI/CD pipelines, and deployment automation
• Solid knowledge of Docker, Kubernetes, Terraform, and other modern DevOps/IaC tools
• Experience with monitoring, alerting, incident management, and infrastructure security best practices
• Practical experience with cloud environments and supporting cloud migration initiatives (AWS, Azure, or GCP)
• Strong communication and collaboration skills with a proactive, ownership-driven mindset
• English and German language proficiency

• Hands-on experience with public or private cloud is a plus
