About The Position

Software Mind is seeking a Senior DevOps Manager to lead a DevOps team for a client in the real estate sector. This project involves a comprehensive replatforming and cloud migration journey, focusing on transitioning subsidiary services from on-premises infrastructure to a modern, AWS-integrated environment. The role requires ensuring stable, secure, and highly available IT operations, managing and improving existing infrastructure, owning CI/CD pipelines, and driving improvements in monitoring, alerting, and incident management. Collaboration with engineering teams to enhance release quality and speed is also a key aspect.

Requirements

Proven experience in leadership roles, including managing and mentoring technical teams
Strong hands-on experience with Linux, on-premises infrastructure, CI/CD pipelines, and deployment automation
Solid knowledge of Docker, Kubernetes, Terraform, and other modern DevOps/IaC tools
Experience with monitoring, alerting, incident management, and infrastructure security best practices
Practical experience with cloud environments and supporting cloud migration initiatives (AWS, Azure, or GCP)
Strong communication and collaboration skills with a proactive, ownership-driven mindset
English and German language proficiency
