About The Position
Fastwater Staffing is seeking a Senior DevOps Engineer / Cloud Automation Architect. This role requires a strong background in DevOps, Cloud Engineering, or Site Reliability Engineering (SRE) with extensive experience in CI/CD, Infrastructure as Code, automated deployments, and cloud environments, particularly AWS. The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing and automating robust cloud infrastructure and deployment pipelines.
Requirements
- 5+ years of DevOps, Cloud Engineering, or Site Reliability Engineering (SRE) experience.
- Strong hands-on experience with CI/CD pipeline design and automation.
- Strong hands-on experience with Infrastructure as Code (Terraform, CloudFormation, AWS CDK).
- Strong hands-on experience with automated deployment and testing workflows.
- Strong hands-on experience with observability, monitoring, and logging solutions.
- Strong hands-on experience with AWS ECS and EKS / Kubernetes.
- Experience with scripting using Python, Bash, and/or PowerShell.
- Experience building and managing scalable AWS cloud environments.
- U.S. Citizen or Green Card (Permanent Resident) holder ONLY.
- Willingness to undergo fingerprinting and a government background check (CJIS-type).

Nice To Haves
- AWS Professional Certification (Solutions Architect Professional or DevOps Engineer Professional).
- Experience with enterprise-scale cloud automation and platform engineering.
