About The Position

Fastwater Staffing is seeking a FinOps Engineer / Cloud Financial Analyst with a strong background in AWS cloud operations and financial management. This role requires a U.S. Citizen or Green Card holder who is willing to undergo a government background check. The successful candidate will be responsible for optimizing cloud costs, managing financial operations within AWS, and ensuring efficient resource allocation in multi-account environments.

Requirements

3+ years of AWS Cloud Operations / FinOps experience.
Strong hands-on experience with AWS cost optimization and rightsizing.
Experience with Reserved Instances (RI) and Savings Plans.
Experience with cost allocation and tagging.
Experience with AWS Cost Anomaly Detection.
Experience with AWS Trusted Advisor / Cost Optimization Hub.
Experience with Cost & Usage Reports (CUR).
Experience with AWS Organizations and multi-account environments.
Technical background in Cloud Engineering, Computer Science, EECS, Electrical Engineering, or related field.
U.S. Citizen or Green Card (Permanent Resident) holder ONLY.
Willingness to undergo fingerprinting and a government background check (CJIS-type).
