About The Position

Weyerhaeuser is searching for a senior level leadership development candidate to join the Wood Products Lumber team initially placed at the Longview, Washington sawmill. This position is a full-time, salary-exempt position and reports to the Mill Manager. The Senior Development Program (SDP) is a high-impact, 12-18 months rotational experience designed to accelerate readiness for department level and site level leadership roles. Participants will gain exposure to leading safety and reliability processes in a wood products manufacturing environment, developing and implementing strategic site level initiatives, and build knowledge and skills related to our manufacturing processes. This position is designated by WY as a safety-sensitive position. Requirements

  • 5-8 years working experience
  • 4-5 years of progressive leadership experience
  • Bachelor's degree (or higher) in business, engineering, forestry or related discipline
  • Proven track record of leading teams, managing change, and delivering results
  • Ability to implement and drive operational and strategic initiatives
  • Must be willing to travel and relocate for high-priority assignments

Responsibilities
