About The Position

RTC is seeking an experienced Senior Development Manager to help build and grow its philanthropy function. Working closely with the Vice President of Philanthropy, the role will help shape fundraising strategy, strengthen development operations, and expand philanthropic support for RTC’s mission. This strategic and hands-on position focuses primarily on revenue generation. The Senior Development Manager will independently manage and grow a portfolio of mid-level institutional and individual donors and prospects, cultivating relationships, securing commitments, and stewarding donors. The role will also help build the systems, infrastructure, and fundraising narratives needed to support RTC’s long-term growth. The position includes responsibility for revenue generation and relationship management, development operations and infrastructure, and fundraising strategy, campaigns, and communications. The fundraising portfolio is expected to build toward an annual fundraising goal of $1 million within the first two years. In the first year, the manager will build and actively manage a qualified prospect portfolio, establish a consistent prospecting rhythm, strengthen portfolio management and stewardship systems, execute targeted fundraising campaigns, and build working relationships with the Vice President of Philanthropy, CEO, and cross-functional colleagues. The ideal candidate is a resourceful, collaborative fundraiser with strong relationship management skills and operational discipline, who can turn strategy into action and take ownership in a growing organization where systems and processes are still evolving. RTC encourages applicants with relevant skills and capabilities gained through varied professional and educational pathways. Applicants must be authorized to work in the United States without current or future sponsorship. The position is remote in the US.
