About The Position

SAP Labs, LLC seeks a Senior Developer at our San Ramon, CA location responsible for development focusing on design, coding, testing, quality assurance of complex product features in a development team.

Requirements

Java
Agile/Scrum methodologies
Database management, including SQL, HANA, and MySQL
Performance, Unit and integration testing frameworks, including JUnit, Apache JMeter
Spring Boot Framework
AWS, Azure, and Google Cloud Platform (GCP)
CI/CD pipeline design and DevOps tools, including Docker, Kubernetes, and Jenkins
JProfiler, IntelliJ, and Splunk
Troubleshooting and fixing live customer issues independently
Designing and developing full life cycle of REST APIs including design, development, upgrade, and maintenance
Backend development and API design

Responsibilities

Resolve complex issues within own area of expertise and support others in resolving issues.
Show initiative and drive topics to resolution in a high level of quality, speed, reliability, and efficiency.
Work closely together with others and share expertise to ensure product success.
Constantly improve own work methods to gain state-of-the-art agile software engineering skills.
Enhance skills beyond own core functional focus and work on other tasks for the benefit of the team.
If serving as a Scrum Master, will be responsible for promoting and supporting Scrum by helping everyone understand Scrum theory, practices, rules, and values.
Scrum Master is a ‘servant-leader’ for the Product Owner and the Development Team.
Facilitates Scrum events on request or as required.
Coaches the Development Team in self-organization.
Removes impediments to the Development Team’s progress.
