About The Position

The Senior Developer at Venesco LLC supports and develops web applications for financial management business processes and controls. The role participates in all stages of application development, including requirements gathering, design, implementation, operations, and maintenance. Candidates are expected to communicate effectively and work independently throughout projects using an iterative, agile-like process.

The position involves full-stack web application development using Microsoft .NET technology and Oracle RDBMS. Work includes developing front-end single-page applications, well-structured middle-tier APIs and services, and data models. DEA financial systems support includes UFMS and FIRST operations and maintenance, FIRST design and development, and SharePoint development, administration, and training. UFMS is the Department of Justice system based on CGI-Federal’s Momentum Financial Management System and configured for DOJ/DEA. FIRST consists of custom reports and applications supporting DEA financial operations, management, reporting, program management, enforcement case management, and financial statement preparation, serving more than 15,000 DEA-wide users.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree.
• At least 12 years of progressive, relevant work experience.
• Strong .NET skills, including web frameworks, libraries, unit testing frameworks, and design best practices.
• Full-stack web development experience.
• Experience with Vue 3 or a similar front-end framework such as React or Angular; Vue is preferred.
• Knowledge of JavaScript, HTML, and CSS.
• Experience with a CSS framework such as Bootstrap.
• SQL and data modeling skills, including experience working with relational databases for data persistence.
• Familiarity with Git and common code branching strategies.
• Ability to obtain a SECRET clearance.

Nice To Haves

• Experience with accounting systems such as CGI Momentum or other commercial off-the-shelf products.
• Experience developing applications for financial management controls or business processes.
• Experience using AWS Kiro for AI-assisted code generation.
• AWS certifications in developer, architect, or AI areas.
• Experience with Oracle PL/SQL or Oracle DBA work.

Responsibilities
