Senior Developer
About The Position
One North, a digital experience agency and part of TEKsystems, is hiring a Senior Developer to lead project implementation and strategy across back-end technologies and build progressive, responsive, high-performing websites. The role partners with clients and internal teams to review, develop, and implement technical client applications. Although it does not directly manage people, the Senior Developer leads project work, creates technical solutions or directs other developers in implementing them, and continues to develop leadership capabilities through self-awareness and feedback.
Requirements
- At least 3 years of development experience in an agency or consultancy.
- At least 3 years of expertise in .NET MVC and ASP.NET.
- At least 3 years of experience with HTML5 and CSS3 (SASS).
- At least 3 years of experience with JavaScript, Node.js, and frameworks such as Vue.js or React.
- At least 3 years of experience with Git.
- At least 3 years of understanding of enterprise software development best practices.
- At least 1 year of experience with MongoDB and SQL Server.
- Broad knowledge of capabilities across different browsers and devices.
- Previous experience with DevOps tooling and management.
- At least 3 years of expertise with Sitecore or SitecoreAI.
- At least 3 years of experience with modern CMS systems such as WordPress, Drupal, or Adobe AEM.
- At least 3 years of experience reviewing and handling complex support issues.
- Experience with headless architectures.
- Excellent communication skills.
Responsibilities
- Participate in implementing, testing, and supporting web-based projects.
- Engineer solutions for performance, maintainability, and efficiency while creating strong end-user experiences.
- Contribute to testing and provide fixes for issues as needed.
- Reduce technical debt, optimize applications, and investigate and architect improvements for feature updates.
- Apply knowledge of the .NET page lifecycle and MVC, object-oriented programming, browser compatibility, and web performance optimization tools.
- Nurture and mentor new members of the Technology team.
- Lead other developers in developing web solutions.
- Recommend solutions and consult with high-profile clients on projects of varying size and scope.
- Seek and apply feedback from diverse perspectives to support personal growth and development.
- Foster team camaraderie, empathy, healthy debate, and a pragmatic approach to reducing problems and their impact.
