About The Position

Qdrant is hiring a Senior Developer Relations Engineer to lead developer engagement in the San Francisco Bay Area. This senior individual-contributor role combines hands-on engineering, approximately 40% of the time, with public speaking, content creation, and community building, approximately 60% of the time. The role builds relationships with engineers, founders, event organizers, and ecosystem partners, and turns those relationships into joint projects, workshops, and speaking opportunities. The engineer will also share developer feedback with Qdrant's core engineering team to inform the product roadmap and contribute to the growth of the Developer Relations team through initiatives and mentoring. The role includes building and maintaining open-source demo applications and prototyping Qdrant use cases involving emerging techniques such as neural sparse encoders, agentic workflows, and AI memory. It also involves producing technical articles, video tutorials, and practical guides; speaking and live coding at conferences; leading Qdrant's presence at hackathons and workshops; and responding to developer questions across online communities and social platforms. Qdrant is a remote-first, international company working on AI infrastructure. The company describes its culture as async-friendly, open-source, engineering-driven, and oriented toward ownership and impact. US-based full-time employees are offered a comprehensive benefits package.
