The Senior Developer, IT Supply Chain is responsible for the design, development, support, and continuous improvement of supply chain technology solutions. The role focuses primarily on the HighJump Warehouse Management System, along with supporting technologies including barcode scanning devices, warehouse automation interfaces, and label printing systems. This position partners closely with Distribution Center operations, supply chain leadership, and enterprise IT teams to ensure reliable system performance while delivering enhancements that improve warehouse productivity, accuracy, and efficiency. The Senior Developer acts as the technical lead for warehouse systems, responsible for development standards, troubleshooting complex issues, and implementing scalable solutions aligned with the company's enterprise architecture. This role is considered a HYBRID position. The ideal candidate will be located in the Minneapolis/St. Paul area with periodic onsite work at our North American manufacturing headquarters in Apple Valley, MN

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field (or equivalent experience).
  • 5+ years of experience in software development supporting warehouse or supply chain systems.
  • Strong hands-on experience with HighJump WMS development and configuration.
  • Experience supporting RF scanning environments and warehouse hardware technologies.
  • Experience with barcode and label printing solutions, such as Loftware and Bartender.
  • Experience with Korber One platform, including Advantage Architect and Webwise Page Editor.
  • Strong troubleshooting and debugging skills in production environments.
  • Experience with: Oracle 19c, SQL Server, and Middleware platforms
  • Experience supporting distribution center operations or manufacturing supply chains
  • Knowledge of warehouse operational processes such as receiving, picking, packing, transportation management, shipping, and cycle counting.

Responsibilities

  • Design, develop, implement, and test new modules and functionality across the HighJump WMS, Oracle 19C database environment, and web applications.
  • Enhance existing systems to support evolving supply chain processes and operational efficiency.
  • Develop, maintain, and support interfaces and integrations between warehouse systems and enterprise applications.
  • Ensure accurate, reliable, and secure data exchange within the Oracle 19C environment and related integration frameworks.
  • Provide ongoing technical support for WMS applications and warehouse technologies including RF barcode scanners, handheld devices, scales, and label printing systems.
  • Diagnose and resolve application, device, and connectivity issues affecting warehouse operations.
  • Coordinate internal or external technical resources as needed and ensure development work meets established standards.
  • Ensure communication, testing, and formal change management procedures are completed before any changes are deployed to production systems.
  • Partner with distribution center leadership and business stakeholders to understand operational requirements and translate them into effective technical solutions that support warehouse and supply chain processes.
