About The Position

As a Senior Deployment Engineer at Celonis, you lead hands-on implementation of Celonis solutions for enterprise customers, using platform expertise and AI-augmented workflows to deliver high-quality outcomes. You direct AI deployment agents to build data models, analyses, and operational solutions; validate and refine their outputs; and apply business and domain judgment to ensure solutions fit customer needs and deliver measurable impact. The role combines customer discovery, technical solution design, implementation, value realization, and adoption rather than manually building every component. You work with customer IT and business stakeholders to define scope, data requirements, and success criteria, configure data connectivity, and translate strategic objectives into use cases and technical specifications. You build and configure solutions across the Celonis platform, identify process inefficiencies and root causes, define success KPIs, quantify business impact, and design operational solutions that improve value, adoption, and process conformance. You lead workshops, manage project outcomes against timelines and scope, train and enable customer users, and document designs and configurations for handover. You also develop expertise in financial services and relevant process domains, creating reusable solution patterns and best practices and collaborating with Product and Business Apps teams on high-value use cases and the platform roadmap. The role requires strong specification and context-engineering skills, ongoing experimentation with AI tools, and a focus on robust, maintainable, scalable solutions. The position is based on a full-time schedule. The stated New York base salary range is $140,000–$155,000 USD; total compensation may also include bonus or commission, equity, and benefits. Travel to customer locations may be required up to 50%, depending on customer needs and project phases.
