Senior Delivery Manager

Axle Health•Santa Monica, CA
•$125,000 - $155,000

About The Position

Axle Health is hiring a Senior Delivery Manager for its Client Solutions and Delivery team to own customer implementations of its AI-powered scheduling and workforce management software for home health organizations. Reporting to the Head of Professional Services, this hands-on role is accountable for taking implementations from requirements through configuration, testing, and go-live. The manager partners directly with customers, configures the platform, makes priority and backlog tradeoffs, and coordinates work across customer stakeholders and internal Sales, Product, and Engineering teams. The role also improves implementation processes and identifies recurring configuration work that could be made self-service. The position involves running several implementations concurrently at a growing Series A startup.

Requirements

  • At least 5 years of experience in business analysis, product management, or technical project management in B2B SaaS implementation or services, with end-to-end ownership of complex builds.
  • Experience as the single accountable owner of implementations from requirements through go-live, without a separate project manager.
  • Experience running multiple implementations in parallel and managing timelines, dependencies, and shared resources.
  • Ability to turn ambiguous customer conversations into clear, buildable configuration and integration specifications.
  • Hands-on platform configuration experience, not solely oversight of others doing configuration.
  • Demonstrated product thinking, including making or influencing backlog and priority tradeoffs during a live implementation.
  • Strong stakeholder management skills with technical and non-technical customer contacts under go-live pressure.
  • Experience at an early-stage or growth-stage startup.

Nice To Haves

  • SQL experience, including writing queries that pull, join, and aggregate data across multiple relational sources.
  • Experience in healthcare, logistics, workforce management, or field operations.
  • Experience designing UAT and testing frameworks.
  • Exposure to EHR or complex third-party integrations.
  • Comfort using AI tools to accelerate documentation, configuration, or troubleshooting.

Responsibilities

  • Partner with customers to uncover, document, and improve workflows, then translate them into clear configuration and integration requirements.
  • Own implementation timelines and milestones, keep work sequenced and visible to customers and internal stakeholders, and track dependencies across concurrent implementations.
  • Configure customer environments to meet requirements and make backlog and priority tradeoffs as issues arise.
  • Define integration requirements and sequence build work against dependencies so integrations do not block go-live.
  • Design and run user acceptance testing (UAT) so issues are identified before go-live.
  • Own the go/no-go checklist and drive it to completion.
  • Serve as the primary implementation point of contact for customers throughout the build, keeping stakeholders informed and aligned.
  • Maintain implementation context across Sales, Product, and Engineering, and flag product gaps early when they could block go-live.
  • Identify recurring configuration work that requires engineering support and turn it into enhancement requests that move implementations toward self-service.
  • Improve implementation processes so future implementations run more smoothly.
