About The Position

CVS Health is seeking a Senior Data Scientist to support its Medicare sales organization. The role owns the data models, pipelines, and analytical frameworks that inform sales strategy, agent and broker performance, and enrollment growth across Medicare Advantage and Part D markets. It also supports sales reporting, territory planning, market segmentation, and the governance of sales data assets. The Senior Data Scientist partners with Sales, Marketing, and Finance to turn data into actionable growth strategies and mentors junior analysts while establishing data standards for the sales organization.

Requirements

• At least 3 years of experience in data science or advanced analytics.
• At least 2 years supporting Medicare, Medicare Advantage, or Part D markets.
• Strong SQL skills.
• Proficiency in Python or R for modeling and automation.
• Experience with CMS public data, including enrollment files, landscape files, and plan finder data.
• Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience.

Nice To Haves

• Familiarity with lead generation, direct mail, telesales, or digital acquisition analytics.
• Experience building propensity-to-enroll or churn models for Medicare-eligible populations.
• Master's degree in Statistics, Data Science, Business Analytics, or a related field.

Responsibilities

• Build and maintain sales performance models tracking agent, broker, and channel productivity.
• Develop predictive models for Medicare enrollment forecasting, lead scoring, and market penetration.
• Analyze sales funnel data to identify conversion opportunities and retention risks.
• Design and manage sales reporting infrastructure, including dashboards, KPIs, and scorecards.
• Support territory planning and market segmentation using CMS enrollment and demographic data.
• Partner with Sales, Marketing, and Finance to translate data into actionable growth strategies.
• Manage and govern sales data assets to ensure accuracy, consistency, and accessibility.
• Mentor junior analysts and establish data standards for the sales organization.
