About The Position

Phillips Lytle is looking to expand its talent within its Litigation Practice with the addition of a seasoned data privacy and cyber security lawyer. The Data Privacy and Cyber Security team is seeking a senior lawyer with at least 8 years of experience handling complex data, privacy, cybersecurity, and related regulatory issues for a range of companies across multiple industries. Candidates should have deep experience with some or all of the following: advising companies on US federal and state privacy laws and global regulations as applicable, drafting privacy policies, developing and implementing internal data protection programs, counseling on business and legal incident responses to security breaches, and advising on privacy issues associated with AI, health data, biometric data and other sensitive information. Applicants should have superior academic credentials and strong analytical, drafting, leadership and communication skills. Requirements

  • At least 8 years of experience handling complex data, privacy, cybersecurity, and related regulatory issues.
  • Deep experience with advising companies on US federal and state privacy laws and global regulations.
