About The Position

Within our Corporate Financial Shared Services team located in Denver, Leprino is seeking a Senior Data Privacy Analyst to strengthen and advance our global data privacy program across our US and UK operations. This role will assess privacy risk, interpret evolving data protection requirements, and lead privacy initiatives that help Leprino protect personal and sensitive information. You will work closely with Legal, Information Security, IT, HR, Internal Audit, and business teams to embed thoughtful privacy practices into technology, processes, and everyday operations. At Leprino, starting compensation for this role typically ranges between $97,000 and $110,000. This position has an annual target bonus of 10%.

Requirements

  • A bachelor’s degree in Information Systems, Cybersecurity, Legal Studies, Data Governance, or a related field.
  • Five years of experience in data privacy, compliance, information governance, cybersecurity, or a related field.
  • Experience conducting privacy assessments and coordinating privacy compliance activities within an organization.
  • Experience interpreting and applying privacy or data protection requirements to business processes, technology, or organizational initiatives.

Nice To Haves

  • An advanced degree in Information Systems, Cybersecurity, Legal Studies, Data Governance, or a related field.
  • A CIPP, CIPM, or CIPT certification from the International Association of Privacy Professionals (IAPP).
  • A Certified Data Management Professional (CDMP) credential or comparable education in data governance and information management.
  • Experience supporting privacy programs across multiple jurisdictions, particularly US and UK operations.

Responsibilities

  • Interpret and apply privacy laws, regulations, and contractual requirements, including GDPR, CCPA/CPRA, and other applicable data protection requirements.
  • Lead Privacy Impact Assessments (PIAs) and Data Protection Impact Assessments (DPIAs), identify privacy risks, and recommend practical mitigation strategies.
  • Evaluate privacy considerations associated with new technologies, business processes, systems, and enterprise initiatives.
  • Support privacy investigations, incident response activities, and regulatory inquiries across our US and UK operations.
  • Review vendor and service-provider privacy practices, data processing agreements, and privacy-related contractual provisions in partnership with Legal.
  • Lead cross-functional privacy initiatives by coordinating work across Legal, Information Security, IT, HR, Internal Audit, and business teams.
  • Track privacy project milestones, risks, remediation activities, and compliance measures while recommending improvements to strengthen our privacy program.
  • Develop, implement, and maintain privacy policies, standards, procedures, data inventories, and records of processing activities.
  • Create privacy reporting for leadership and global business teams to provide visibility into compliance activities, emerging risks, and remediation progress.
  • Develop and deliver privacy education and awareness materials that help employees understand their responsibilities for protecting personal and sensitive information.
  • Partner with Data Governance and Information Security teams to support data classification, retention, disposal, and appropriate handling practices.
  • Promote privacy-by-design principles and help establish data handling standards and controls as systems and business processes evolve.
