About The Position
A state agency is migrating from a legacy mainframe through SQL staging into Salesforce CRM, and needs a senior analyst to guarantee 100% data integrity across every hop: zero record loss, perfect relational mapping, clean reconciliation. This role offers senior-level ownership of validation strategy on a complex, visible migration.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree (CS, IS, Business, or related)
- 5+ years with SQL Server, Salesforce Service Cloud, and data conversion testing/validation
- Advanced SQL (complex joins, CTEs, window functions, profiling)
- Salesforce data architecture and SOQL fluency
- Legacy data literacy (fixed-width flat files, EBCDIC-to-ASCII validation)
- Python/Pandas or advanced Excel/Power Query for automated cross-system comparison

Responsibilities
- Validate data at every migration hop (mainframe → SQL → Salesforce), record counts, hash totals, financial summaries
- Review Source-to-Target Mapping (STTM) documents and write complex SQL to verify transformation logic
- Validate Salesforce relational integrity post-load (SOQL, Data Loader, Workbench, External IDs, parent-child relationships)
- Triage defects (encoding issues, orphaned records, null violations) with Informatica ETL and Salesforce developers
