About The Position
Developer III application developer responsible for translating application storyboards and use cases into functional applications. The role focuses on designing, building, and maintaining efficient, reusable, and reliable code while ensuring application performance, quality, and responsiveness. The developer identifies bottlenecks and bugs and devises solutions, and helps maintain code quality, organization, and automation. Development may involve languages and areas such as Java, .NET, web, mobile, reporting and analytics, or legacy systems. The stated experience focus is mainframe development, COBOL, and JCL.
Requirements
- At least 6 years of experience.
- Experience with mainframe development, COBOL, and JCL.
- Proficiency in applicable programming languages and knowledge of their ecosystems.
- Familiarity with design and architectural patterns.
- Knowledge of applicable patterns, concepts, frameworks, and services.
- Understanding of scalable application design principles and class loading mechanisms.
