About The Position

We are seeking a Senior Data Governance Engineer with deep, hands-on experience implementing and operating Microsoft Purview in enterprise data environments. This role requires expertise in data engineering, analytics engineering, or data governance, with a strong focus on Microsoft Purview components. The ideal candidate will have production experience in configuring and managing various Purview features to ensure robust data governance practices.

Requirements

• Senior Data Governance Engineer (Microsoft Purview) with deep, hands-on experience implementing and operating Microsoft Purview in enterprise data environments.
• 5+ years’ experience in data engineering, analytics engineering, or data governance.
• 3+ years Hands-on production experience implementing and configuring Microsoft Purview components including Collections, Scanners, Metadata catalog, Classifications, Glossary, and Lineage.
• Proficiency in Python.
• Strong communication skills.

Nice To Haves

• Experience with Microsoft Azure.
• Experience with AWS Data Services.
• Experience as a Java Developer.

Responsibilities

• Implement and operate Microsoft Purview in enterprise data environments.
• Configure and manage Microsoft Purview components including Collections, Scanners, Metadata catalog, Classifications, Glossary, and Lineage.
