About The Position
Hands-on PHP engineer providing production support, bug resolution, and performance optimization for web applications. Acts as the technical bridge between engineering and operations — owning issue triage, root cause analysis, and timely fixes in live environments. This is a hybrid role.
Requirements
- PHP Web Apps Experience
- Experience with Splunk
- Experience with Tableau
- Experience with MySQL / PostgreSQL
- Experience with RESTful API integrations
Responsibilities
- Monitor, triage, and resolve PHP application issues across production environments within defined SLAs
- Aware of Web Application Development Lifecycle
- Diagnose and fix defects in PHP codebases; deploy hotfixes with minimal downtime
- Investigate recurring failures, document findings, and implement permanent solutions
- Review PHP code for bugs, security vulnerabilities, and performance bottlenecks
- Write and optimize SQL queries; troubleshoot database-related application issues (MySQL / PostgreSQL)
- Debug and support RESTful API integrations and third-party service connections
- Maintain runbooks, incident logs, and known-error knowledge base
