Senior Data Engineer (Remote, India)

Apollo.io is seeking a data engineer to join their team. The role involves maintaining and operating the data warehouse, as well as connecting data sources. Responsibilities include developing and maintaining scalable data pipelines, implementing automated monitoring and alerting features, and ensuring data quality. The ideal candidate should have a bachelor's degree in a quantitative field, experience in data modeling and warehousing, and strong collaboration skills. • Develop and maintain scalable data pipelines and build new integrations to support increasing data volume and complexity
• Implement automated monitoring, alerting, and self-healing features for consumption pipelines
• Implement processes and systems to monitor data quality and ensure accurate and available production data
• Write unit/integration tests, contribute to engineering wiki, and document work
• Define company data models and write jobs to populate data models in the data warehouse
• Work closely with business units and engineering teams to develop a strategy for long-term data platform architecture
• Required: Bachelor's degree in a quantitative field (Physical / Computer Science, Engineering or Mathematics / Statistics)
• Required: Experience in data modeling, data warehousing, and building ETL pipelines
• Required: Deep knowledge of data warehousing with the ability to collaborate cross-functionally
• Preferred: 5+ years of experience in data engineering or a similar role
