About The Position

We are looking for a Senior Data Engineer to join Deftpower's Data Team. This is a full-time role based in Arnhem. At Deftpower, we are developing a SaaS platform for electric charging businesses across Europe, using AI and intelligent software to integrate charging with the energy grid for a greener and more stable system. The company is experiencing rapid growth following a major investment, with plans to expand from 85 to 125 employees by the end of the year. The Data Team, currently consisting of four people, is becoming its own domain, separating from the Operations team. The role offers the opportunity to take ownership of the data domain and grow into a Team Lead position as the team scales. The ideal candidate will focus on building smart, workable solutions rather than over-engineering, with a pragmatic approach to problem-solving and a focus on delivering impact quickly. The role involves collaborating with various departments to translate business needs into data solutions, managing ETL/ELT pipelines, designing data models, consolidating data, supporting operational processes, creating Power BI dashboards, and ensuring data quality. Experience with .NET for API integrations is a plus. The company culture is described as ambitious, open, fast-paced, and driven by a desire to make customers happy, with a strong emphasis on teamwork and mutual trust.
